“Be the spark, especially when it’s dark.” – Notes from the Universe

If you were to take a peek into my mind right now, you would see that I am not:
ready
calm, cool or collected
gonna lie to you
zen, one little bit
sleeping as much as I should
It’s quite messy up there.
But if you make it through the maze, down fear freeway, past uneasy street, around procrastination crescent, up to-do avenue, west on trepidation road, across the stress bridge, past scattered lane, between oh-my-god-make-time-stop and are-we-there-yet and down the alley of the batty with a thousand cats running astray…
… if you are willing to take that long, winding journey, you finally come to the path that leads to a little door, and when you arrive at that door, no knocking is necessary because it is home (and the door is a little unhinged anyways, so you could probably squeeze through) and when you walk in, you feel at peace and you are able to forget all the traffic outside, the noise, the disquietude, and when you do that you clearly see the underlying emotion, the soft current that is running under this maze of crazy synaptical transmissions and thought highways…. and that is, deep down, you feel electrified. You will be doing something you’ve only dreamed of since the age of 20. How awesome is that?

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” – Elliott Erwitt

Happy Weekend!
